We recognise the importance of supporting our community and the profound impact that we can make in times of need. Today, we are proud to share that we have donated £2000 to Liverpool Women’s Hospital Charity, specifically to support the refurbishment of their Bereavement suite.
The Bereavement suite at Liverpool Women’s Hospital is a special place to provide comfort and support to families who have experienced the tragic loss of a baby. It is a space where parents can grieve in peace, surrounded by compassionate care and understanding. Our donation will be directed towards creating improvements to the walls in the suite to help parents who are mourning find some solace away from the sounds of the wider hospital.
Sophie Duffy our New Business & Social Value Officer shared
“It was very touching to see where the Ecogee donation will be spent. We are glad to be able to play a small part in supporting families at the Liverpool Women’s Hospital during such a difficult time. The hospital is close to our hearts and many of the families at Ecogee. On our visit I bumped into my sister-in-law and I had my both babies at Liverpool Women’s Hospital”
At Ecogee, our role extends beyond business; it’s about creating a positive social impact. We are committed to being a part of meaningful change within our communities and we hope that our support can make a significant different to those families navigating the most painful of journeys.
Kate David, Head of Fundraising at Liverpool Women’s Hospital:
“We want to thank Ecogee for the kind donation of £2,000 to our Honeysuckle fund. The donation will be used to help with soundproofing Liverpool Women’s Hospitals bereavement delivery room. This will make a huge difference to families with sleeping babies, and I can’t thank you enough for your support.”
