One Vision

Delivery of energy efficiency measures, combining contracts that can deliver thermal fabric improvements, heating & renewables, power and building management systems. The framework is aimed at helping members meet the government’s net zero target by 2050.

Energy efficency works. Grant and non-grant funded.

Retrofit works will be delivered to improve the energy efficiency of 287 Cobalt properties, which currently have an energy performance (EPC) rated below SAP Band C. Home improvements include cavity wall insulation, loft insulation, ventilation, solar PV panels, low-energy lightbulbs and HomeLink digital sensory technology. In addition, homes will also benefit from additional works, including electrical rewiring and kitchen replacements as part of Cobalt’s commitment to invest in customers’ homes.

Retrofit services programme. This programme will utilise the Department for Energy, Security and Net Zero’s (DESNZ) Home Upgrade Grant Fund, Phase 2 (HUG2) to assist with:

  • Tackling fuel poverty.
  • Contributions toward Net Zero targets.
  • Introduce energy efficiency measures.
  • Introduce low-carbon heating into the homes of low-income families.
