We currently employ more than 60 members of staff at our Aintree Headquarters, all living locally in Merseyside.
In addition, Ecogee works with, and supports, over 50 local subcontractors and small businesses. We endeavour to source all materials locally where possible.
Managing Director, Brendan has over 30 years’ experience within the construction and the energy sector. Brendan formed the company in 2012 following 10 very successful years within the construction company MITIE. As an operations manager he was responsible for delivering over £50M worth of works across the Northwest as part of the decent homes scheme. Married with two children, Brendan's main loves in life as well as his family, are Golf, Football and the Algarve.
Director of Eco and Energy Saving Grants, Denis has held senior director roles for the past 30 years.
He holds a BA in professional housing and has spent the last 10 years involved in housing and energy saving measures. Whilst Denis' primary role is to develop Ecogee Energy Companies Obligations and other Government Grant led opportunities he also works strategically across the other areas of Ecogee Business. Denis' main interests outside of work are his family, especially spending time with his new granddaughter, golf and walking with his wife Miriam.
Maria is our Senior Operations Manager with more than 15 years of industry experience and has worked in many senior roles in the construction industry.
Maria heads up our grant funding workstreams, including Social Housing Decarbonisation Fund (SHDF), Local Authority Delivery (LAD), Home Upgrade Grant (HUG) and Energy Company Obligation (ECO) and oversees and manages the day-to-day operations of the business. She ensures everything runs efficiently, smoothly and in alignment with our overall goals and objectives.
Christine is head of finance here at Ecogee. Christine has a wealth of experience across the finance sector having spent over 25 years balancing the books. Christine holds a level 4 AAT qualification, diploma in Management as well as holding a BA with Hons in History and Sociology. Christine is born and bred in Liverpool and loves spending any spare time with her close family, including her two beautiful grandchildren.
As Senior Contracts Manager, Jamie is responsible for all external wall projects, new builds, and our social housing contracts, Jamie has been involved in the construction industry for over 25 years ranging from civil engineering projects to full fit out turnkey developments. He is qualified at a HNC level in construction which he achieved at Liverpool John Moores University. Outside of work Jamie loves to travel and is a keen cyclist.
Anne-Marie is our Head of Compliance here at Ecogee.
Anne-Marie has been involved with the Government’s Grant Funding schemes for the past six years.
She leads the retrofit compliance process from cradle to grave and works alongside the client on DENSZ submissions across all contracts.
Currently, Anne-Marie is undergoing a leadership course with The Regenda Group, which Ecogee is supporting her with.
Marc is the Head of ECO here at Ecogee. He has been involved with the Governments Energy Companies Obligation scheme and has overseen more than £50M pounds worth of energy saving measures being installed in the North West as well as building excellent working relationships with various energy companies and local authorities. In his spare time Marc is a keen runner, guitarist, Evertonian and in his words a “scholar of life" as well as a dad to young Jack and a step-dad to both Faye and Neive.
Sophie Duffy is our Business Development Support Officer here at Ecogee.
Sophie has been with the company since day one - back when we formed in 2012. She has had a variety of roles over the 11 years, Human Resources being one of them.
As part of Ecogee partnering with The Regenda Group, Sophie’s new role as Business Development Support officer means she champions customer services and social values across the group.
She supports the team with new bids and leads on social values for the company and is a great asset to the firm.
As Project Manger New Build, David started off as an electrician working on major construction sites almost 30 years ago before progressing to site manager where he obtained all of the relevant industry qualifications. For the past 20 years David has been directly involved in overseeing and managing refurbishment and new build projects across the North West within the Social Housing and the Private Housing Sector. David in his spare time enjoys hiking, playing golf and watching football.
Quantity Surveyor Josh has worked with Ecogee for over three years, starting as an assistant Quantity Surveyor before moving into his current role last year after proving to be a fantastic contributor to the team.
Josh works across all of our contracts and quotes for clients, produces bespoke valuations and prepares pricing documents for bids.
Retrofit Co-Ordinator David, has been at Ecogee for three years and has more than 30 years hands-on experience in the gas and insulation industry.
Dave takes charge of managing and delivering the PAS2035 process, ensuring meticulous attention to detail from assessment and design to installation, handover, and ongoing monitoring, all in accordance with the rigorous PAS2030 standards.
Dave's dedication and mastery play a pivotal role in ensuring that every project we undertake meets the highest industry benchmarks.
Jane Alley is Ecogee's Project Planner.
She has worked for the company since February 2023, and oversees MCS compliance for our Solar PV and ASHP installations working alongside Simon Watson.
It's important our firm is compliant for all contracts and projects, including solar photovoltaic (PV) installations - especially because Ecogee has been at the forefront of renewable energy and energy saving for 12 years, leading the way with Solar PV and battery installation across the North West.
Jane is one of our project planners who books out appointments for surveys, installs and inspection across multiple contracts.
Simon Watson is an expert leader in renewable energy and worked at Ecogee for more than a year.
Joining the business in November 2022, Simon previously ran his own renewables company, and brings a wealth of expertise and knowledge that is vital to Ecogee's growth in the renewable energy market.
Simon manages the team that leads on all renewable technologies for several clients across the North West and Merseyside. From the survey stage to installation and commissioning, Simon and his team is there every step of the way.
The team learns something new everyday thanks to his skills and expert knowledge in the industry.
Mark Watkinson is Ecogee's Eco Compliance Co-ordinate and has worked for the company for over a year.
Joining the firm in September 2022, Mark brings a lot of experience to the team having worked in the sector for more than 10 years.
Mark works on ECO compliances from post compliance documentations to submissions. He makes sure our ECO contracts are confirming to industry standards and compliant with government policies.
Ecogee's Project Manager is Stuart Dykes, who has more than 15 years of valuable industry experience.
In his role, Stuart manages our subcontractors, controls the CPP and ensures contract specifications are met and the latest construction drawings are followed.
He also monitors operatives for trends in workmanship to ensure quality standards of client specifications are being met across contracts.
Lauren Poland is our Project Manager at Ecogee.
She joined the Ecogee team three years ago and was recently promoted to Project Manager on our Local Authority Delivery and Home Upgrade Grant funding contracts.
Her primary role is to ensure successful project execution and compliance with grant requirements.
Sophie Scully is our Assistant Quantity Surveyor, and has been at Ecogee for three months, joining our growing commercial team.
The business is supporting Sophie in her final year of her Quantity Surveyor degree which she attends two days per week at Liverpool John Moores University.
Her other time is spent here, working alongside the team in costing projects at all stages. During this role, Sophie can put her practical skills to the test in a working environment.

Amelia Woods is a Project Planner for Ecogee.
For the last twelve months, Amelia has been the driving force behind our grant funding initiatives and is responsible for coordinating multiple work streams, including SHDF, LAD and HUG.
Amelia is responsible for booking appointments, liaising with clients regarding applications and evidence, compiling job schedules and ensuring all relevant paperwork is completed pre-install.
Her excellent attention to detail and planning ensures everything runs smoothly and our projects stay on track.
David heads up our Social Housing Contract with the Prima Group responsible for all the repairs, maintenance, voids and now replacement kitchens across thousands of properties in and around Liverpool. Due to David's colourful up bringing he has vast experiences to call from, ranging from a haulage yard/scrap yard and skip hire to civil engineering night clubs into social housing and sheltered accommodation in both a hands on and supervisory role. David is fully qualified in carpentry and supervision. In his spare time, David enjoys walking, the national trust and whatever can put a smile on his wife and grandchildren's faces. David lives locally in Fazakerley and has done for most of his life.
Gracey Lacey, is an ECO Co-Ordinator here at Ecogee.
Starting her position in June this year, Grace deals with everything from lead generation to submissions and lodgments of ECO jobs as part of her role.
With our work under ECO set to continue until 2026 at the earliest, Grace will continue to be an invaluable asset to the team.
